USNS Mercy leaves San Diego bound for Indo-Pacific on Pacific Partnership mission

The U.S. Navy's Hospital ship, USNS Mercy (T-AH 19) Friday left San Diego bound for Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam to take part in the 13th Pacific Partnership mission, the annual multilateral disaster response preparedness mission conducted in the Indo-Pacific.This year's mission, scheduled to begin Feb 23, is led by Commander, Destroyer Squadron 31 and staff, embarked on the hospital ship USNS Mercy and the expeditionary fast transport ship USNS Fall River, and will include more than 800 military and civilian personnel from the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, France, Peru, and Japan.…………….Please Log in or Subscribe to view full details…..
