US Navy's Pacific Partnership 2017 concludes in Sri Lanka on a successful note

 The United States Navy's Pacific Partnership 2017 mission in Sri Lanka, commenced with the arrival of USNS Fall River of the US Pacific Command at the Port of Hambantota on 07th March, concluded successfully on Friday. Pacific Partnership is the largest annual multilateral humanitarian assistance and disaster relief preparedness mission conducted by the U.S. Navy in the Indo-Asia-Pacific and aims to enhance regional coordination in areas such as medical readiness and preparedness for manmade and natural disasters. During the ten-day mission military and civilian experts from United States Australia and Japan onboard USNS Fall River along with the Sri Lankan personnel participated in a series of community service and social responsibility projects including medical and civil engineering projects, conducting HA/DR readiness drills, and partnering in a number of community engagements. ...........Members Log in or Subscribe to Read more------------
