US Marine officers in Sri Lanka to plan training for Navy  US Marine officials visited the Sri Lanka Navy Headquarters Wednesday to participate in the initial planning conference on navy patrolmen training for the year 2016, the Navy said. During the visit they met the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne and discussed matters related to the training of patrolmen branch personnel. Presently Sri Lanka Navy also conducts training for marine battalion at Mullikulam. Commander of the Navy has also been invited to participate in the Pacific Command Amphibious Leaders Symposium 2016 (PALS 16) scheduled to be held in Southern California from 11-14 July 2016.
