UNP hands over no-confidence motion against appointment of Rajapaksa as PM

The United National Party says it has handed over a No Confidence Motion to Speaker of House Karu Jayasuriya, against the appointment of Mahinda Rajapaksa as the Prime Minister. The official Twitter account of the UNP quoting UNP Parliamentarian Lakshman Kiriella said the Motion of No-confidence against the Premiership of Mahinda Rajapaksa was handed over to the Speaker today. The No Confidence Motion will be placed on the order book when Parliament next convenes.
