Sri Lanka PM discusses regional relations with Indian, Bangladeshi Ministers in Vietnam

Sri Lanka's Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe met with Indian Minister of External Affairs, Sushma Swaraj at the Indian Ocean Conference in Vietnam's Hanoi on Monday.

During the meeting, Union External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has highlighted India's continued commitment to investment into housing, ports and aviation in Sri Lanka.

Minister Sushma Swaraj and her Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs inaugurated the third edition of Indian Ocean Conference in Hanoi today.

Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe addressed the inaugural session of the two-day conference themed "Building Regional Architectures" on Monday.

The Premier also met with the Bangladesh Minister of Planning AHM Mustafa Kamal this morning at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Hanoi.
