Sri Lanka Navy launches investigation into seized arms ship  Sri Lanka Navy has launched an investigation into a Sri Lankan-flagged ship carrying weapons seized off the coast of Galle yesterday. The Navy has spotted the ship in the seas 12 nautical miles off the coast of Galle on Tuesday. The ship was found to be carrying 810 weapons and some information provided to the navy was reportedly contradictory. The Navy has seized the ship and brought to the Galle harbor. The ship is being anchored at the Galle Harbor until the investigations are completed. Navy Commander Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne told local media that the Navy's investigation will focus on whether proper records were maintained and whether the weapons have been properly licensed....
