Sri Lanka Navy arrests eight Tamil Nadu fishermen following scuffle with Sri Lankan counterparts  The Sri Lankan Navy has arrested eight Indian fishermen from Nagapattinam in Tamil Nadu after a skirmish in mid-sea with Sri Lankan fishermen, India media reported. The Tamil Nadu fishermen from Akkarapettai in Nagapattinam district were fishing near Mullaitivu when their boat collided with the boat of the Sri Lankan fishermen, which sank in the mid sea as a result of the impact. The Sri Lankan fishermen have reportedly cornered the Indian fishermen with ropes and dragged them along with their fishing boat to the shore and handed them over to the Sri Lankan Navy.
