Sri Lanka army troops leave for Lebanon on UN peacekeeping  The 10th Sri Lanka Army contingent of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) left the country Monday (29 February) to assume Force Protection duties in Lebanon. The 10th Sri Lanka's Force Protection Unit (10 SLFPU) comprising 10 officers and 140 other rankers will replace the currently serving 9th contingent deployed in February 2015. The first advance 49 member party of the SLFPU left the country prior to this team on 16th February.
