Sri Lanka Army returns 23 more acres of land in Kilinochchi to owners

Sri Lanka Army on Thursday has released another 23 acres of land in Kilinochchi in Northern Province, used by the Army for service requirements. As a gesture of goodwill and reconciliation Kilinochchi troops during a simple ceremony on Thursday have taken steps to release a land patch of 23.05 acres including the buildings, owned by government permit holders in Krishnapuram, Kilinochchi. Major General Vijitha Ravipriya, Commander, Security Forces - Kilinochchi has delivered the documents belonging to the buildings and surrounding lands that were acquired by the troops during the war for peace to Kilinochchi District Secretary, S Arumenayaham at the office of the District Secretary...........
