Sri Lanka Army holds discussion with China on boosting military links Sri Lanka Army has held discussions with China on improving military ties between the two countries. The discussions were held between the Ambassador of China in Sri Lanka, Yi Xianliang and the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Chrishantha De Silva at the Army Headquarters on Friday (17). The meeting exchanged views on several bilateral aspects in relation to both People's Liberation Army of China and Sri Lanka Army, the Army media unit said. During the talks both sides have largely focused on the ongoing cooperation for training programs.
