Sri Lanka armed forces annual joint field exercise Cormorant Strike concludes Cormorant Strike, the three-week long annual joint military exercise involving thousands of Sri Lankan armed forces personnel and representatives from foreign countries concluded today (September 20). The mock military exercise organized by the Sri Lanka Army for the seventh consecutive year, successfully came to an end in Kokkilai beach area in Trincomalee today. The exercise was attended by 58 military personnel drawn from Bangladesh, China, India, Japan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and United Kingdom apart from 2,500 Army, 638 Navy and 506 Air Force combatants attached to the special units of Sri Lankan tri-services.
