Sri Lanka and Maldives to enhance cooperation to curb drug trafficking

The Presidents of the Maldives and Sri Lanka emphasizing on building of existing relationships between the two countries have agreed to enhance collaboration on efforts to curb the use and trafficking of illicit drugs. President of the Republic of Maldives Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, who concluded his two-day state visit to Sri Lanka today held bilateral discussions with the Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena at the Presidential Secretariat today. President Sirisena warmly received the Maldives President when he arrived at the Presidential Secretariat today. A guard of honor was held by the armed forces in honor of the Maldives President.
