Second Batch of Sri Lanka Army CCC completes training exercise ahead of peacekeeping mission in Mali

The second batch of the Mali-bound Combat Convoy Company (CCC) of the Sri Lanka Army preparing to leave for the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA) concluded their Field Training Exercise (FTX) today.The Sri Lanka Army said the week-long Field Training Exercise (FTX), 'Harmattan - 2'commnced on 18 October came to a successful conclusion today.The mock Field Training Exercise was organized by the Army as a preparatory mission orientation to match with UN guidelines, prior to the UN peace-keeping assignment shortly in Mali.
