No Confidence Motion against Sri Lanka PM: no support from UNP backbenchers

United National Party (UNP) backbench parliamentarians will not support the No Confidence Motion moved by the Joint Opposition against Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, UNP Parliamentarian Thushara Indunil has said.Speaking to private radio station, the Parliamentarian has said the No Confidence Motion is a failed attempt by the Joint Opposition and the UNP backbenchers will not support or work based on an agenda put forward by the Joint Opposition.According to the Joint Opposition, the No-confidence Motion (NCM) against Premier Wickremesinghe will contain 14 charges of economic mismanagement by him during the last 3 years and 12 of those are related to the Central Bank bond scam.
