India downplays China's subs docking in Sri Lanka India has played down the issue of Chinese submarines docking in Sri Lanka's Colombo Port simply as an issue between the Sri Lankan Navy and Chinese. Speaking to reporters in New Delhi, India's Navy Chief Admiral R K Dhowan has said the Chinese submarines are visiting Sri Lankan ports. "They (Chinese submarines) are in Sri Lanka waters. They are visiting Sri Lankan ports. That is an issue between the Sri Lankan Navy and Chinese," PTI quoted Admiral Dhowan as saying. He added that the Chinese have never approached India for any replenishment for its submarines.
