Pak Releases PTM Leaders Before Imran Addresses UN General Assembly

Days Before Prime Minister Imran Khan is set to take stage in the UN General Assembly on 27 September where his major agenda will be to flag alleged violation of rights of the people of Jammu and Kashmir by the Indian Government, Pakistan released two Pashtun members of the National Assembly (MNA) Mohsin Dawar and Ali Wazir on 21 September.  

Dawar and Wazir are members of prominent Pashtun ethnic community dominant in the tribal areas and have led the  Pushtoon-Tahafuz-Movement (PTM) which has become a major head ache for the Pakistan Army.
