OSINT Report: More Pakistan Army Troops for Saudi Arabia

In a press release on 15 February, Pakistan’s ISPR declared that a Pakistan Army contingent is being sent to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) on a training and advisory mission. The release confirmed that the troops already there will not be employed outside KSA. Pak Army maintains bilateral security cooperation with many other GCC / regional countries and the present deployment is seen as continuation of ongoing Pak-KSA bilateral security cooperation.The release followed a meeting of Mr. Nawaf Saeed Al-Maliki, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia withmet Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ.---------------------
