OSINT Report Iran Pakistan Reset Defence and Security Relations

Months after the two countries had been daggers drawn over security on the borders, Pakistan Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa is in Iran for talks with the Iranian leaders regarding bilateral matters, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Major General Asif Ghafoor said. ----------Pakistan and Iran are on course to mend their relations after a series of major spats in the past few years including a threat by the Iranian Armed Forces chief to launch cross border attacks in case Pakistan does not take action against militant group Jaish al Adl which was based in Balochistan. In fact Iranian Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Bagheri had even threatened to launch cross border strikes in 2016 in case Pakistan does not take action against the rebels. ....................
