Analysis Chabahar Terror Attack and Risks to Indian Investments

India’s envisaged long term investment in the Chabahar Port is estimated to be Rs One Lakh Crore or US $ 12-14 Billion. US President announced that he was pulling out of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action or JCPOA the 2015 nuclear deal with Iran. This had set into motion sanctions by the United States on entities engaging in economic activities with Iran. The United States has given a waiver for  development of the port.
