Signing of Border Confidence Building Measures The Minister of State in the Ministry of External Affairs Shrimati Preneet Kaur informed members in reply to a question in Lok Sabha that India has signed the following CBM Agreements with neighbouring countries: China(i) Agreement on CBMs in the military field along the Line of Actual Control signed on 29th November 1996.(ii) Protocol on Modalities for Implementation of CBMs in the military field along the Line of Actual Control signed on 11th April 2005.PakistanAgreements on CBMs have been signed including Cross-LOC CBMs. These are aimed at strengthening and streamlining trade and travel arrangements across the LOC, based on the demands of people on both sides.BangladeshAgreement on CBMs was signed in July 2011 to control cross border illeg...
