OSINT Report: North Korea and US From Game of Chicken to Prisoner’s Dilemma

The on again-off again meeting between the United States President Donald Trump and North Korean (official name Democratic People’s Republic of Korea) leader Kim Jong un has taken another turn on Saturday (26 May). US President Trump remarked to reporters at the Oval Office that, "we're looking at June 12th in Singapore. That hasn't changed." This comes after the Letter by Mr Trump to Chairman Kim Jong Un on 24 May in which he stated that the Singapore summit, “will not take place,” citing hostility on the part of the North Korean leader and his staff in recent statements as not being conducive to holding talks at the highest level. He had also indicated willingness to reconsider in case Kim Jong un would approach the White House. Two days it appears is a long time in the turbulent relations between North Korea and the United States who have been playing brinkmanship to the hilt in the past year plus that Mr Trump has assumed presidency in the United States................
