Indo US Relations - Kansas Shootings and Presidential Regrets

The disturbing Kansas Shootings has caused a shadow on Indian emigrants in the United States. The Indian Embassy in Washington, press release stated that Indian Consulate in Houston is in close contact with the family of the deceased- Mr. Srinivas Kuchibhotla to provide all help and assistance to the bereaved family. Arrangements are being made to transport his mortal remains to India. Government officials have also met with the injured victim- Mr. Alok Madasani and are ensuring his well-being. Government of India has also taken up the matter with the U.S. authorities to express our deep concern and have asked for speedy investigation. US Government while condemning the attack, have assured us that they are conducting a thorough investigation into the matter.
