Asymmetric Strikes Continue to be Main Option for Adversaries in West Asia

There are growing concerns over escalation in the Persian Gulf after unverified attacks on Saudi oil terminals exposing the vulnerability of critical energy assets in the country which the U.S. blamed on Iran while Riyadh has been more circumspect. 10 armed drones reportedly attacked the Abqaiq and Khurais oil facilities disrupting almost 50 percent of Saudi Arabia’s oil production Yemen's Houthi rebels who are allegedly supported by Iran claimed responsibility for the attacks which has led to speculation of oil prices hitting the $100-mark yet again. United States however openly blamed Iran with the US Secretary of State leaving no doubts as to who was to be blamed for the strikes.............................
