Marxist Leninist Ideology to Guide Government in Nepal

The Left Alliance with the CPN-UML having 121 Seats and the CPN (Maoist Center) 53 seats formed the government in the country. KP Sharma Oli, the chairperson of CPN-UML and a joint candidate of the Left Alliance, was appointed as the country's 38th prime minister. President Bidhya Devi Bhandari named Oli under Clause 76 (2) of the Constitution.About ideology, the new party would adhere to Marxist and Leninist principles. The fate of "the people's multiparty democracy", which is the UML's political line and Maoist Center's political line of Maoism that is a revolution through the gun will be abandoned.The first meeting of the parliament is scheduled on 05 March. Nepali Congress which earned 40 seats in the PR system will have 63 seats, and along with the Madhes block, the Rastriya Janata Party Nepal (RJPN) and Federal Socialist Forum Nepal (FSFN) will be in the opposition.The CPN-UML thus secured 41 seats out of the 110, the CPN (Maoist Center) 17 seats.
