India Nepal Relations: Review of Indian Foreign Minister Visit

 India’s Foreign Minister Mr S M Krishna was in Kathmandu from 20 to 22 April in a clear attempt to reset Indo Nepal relations which has seen many swings in the recent past most of which are perceived to be in the negative territory. Nevertheless with Nepal lacking a credible government for almost 9 months till Mr Jhalanath Khanal took over in February, Indian diplomacy was stymied to an extent and the visit by Mr Krishna was possibly designed to overcome the deficit.
