General Dalbir Singh, COAS Conferred with Title of Honorary Rank of General of Nepal Army The Indian Army Chief General Dalbir Singh was conferred the title of Honorary Rank of General of Nepal Army by Hon’ble President Ram Baran Yadav, at the Rastrapati Bhawan, Sheetal Niwas in Kathmandu on 13 Nov. As part of a long-standing tradition between Nepal and India, both the countries confer the honorary title on each other’s army chiefs. The President also felicitated the COAS with the insignia of the Nepal Army. The Indian Army Chief also called on Hon’ble Prime Minister Sushil Koirala at his office at Singhdurbar.
