State of Left Wing Extremism in India November 2017

Left Wing Extremism variously known as Maoism or Naxalism in 2006-07 regarded as single most significant security threat to country, after People’s War operating in Andhra Pradesh and Maoist Communist Centre of India, operating in Bihar and adjoining areas, merged to form the CPI Maoist Party with philosophy of armed insurgency to overthrow Government and capture State power by use of violence, obviously unacceptable thus major security operations launched by police since 2005 and considerable domination achieved by regaining lost ground and presently level of violence, has come down and between 2010 to 2017 around 2457 civilians and 930 security force personnel killed by Maoists in different parts of India,  majority of civilians killed are tribal’s often branded as Police informers before being brutally tortured and killed as per Ministry of Home Affairs Website, while Recent intelligence reports as indicated by media denote that rebels reorganizing militancy and shifting base from areas having heavy security cover to other favourable zones mainly in forests of Central India …………….Please Log in or Subscribe to view full details…..
