CRPF Reports Spurt in Naxal triggered IED attacks A report by PTI on October 1 says that security forces deployed for anti-Naxal operations in Left Wing Extremism affected states of the country are witnessing a 40 per cent spurt in attacks carried out through use of IEDs or hidden landmines by Maoists. According to the report, improvised Explosive Devices are also injuring a number of CRPF personnel and in some cases, critically.
