India-Myanmar officials inspect border

Officials of India and Myanmar undertook a joint survey today at different border areas of Moreh including the border pillars.At around 9:20 am of today’s morning, a helicopter belonging to BSF arrived from Imphal to Moreh and landed at the helipad of 11 AR bringing a three member team comprising of representatives from ministry of External Affairs and Survey of India to undertake the inspection.The border inspection survey was led by joint secretary, ministry of external affairs, Bikram Dorei Swami, joint secretary, Border Management, A. B Reddy and director, International Boundary Directorate under Survey of India, SK Sinha.From Myanmar, deputy director, General Administration department, Tamu district, Ngein Tun Kyaw led the inspection which was attended by many Myanmarese officials.
