India and Myanmar sign Memorandum of Understanding on Border Cooperation India and Myanmar have signed a Memorandum of Understanding(MoU) on Border Cooperation. The MOU was signed by Mr Gautam Mukhopadhaya, Ambassador of India to Myanmar, and Major General Kyaw Nyunt, Deputy Defence Minister of Myanmar, in Nay Pyi Taw on May 8, 2014. The MoU provides a framework for security cooperation and exchange of information between Indian and Myanmar security agencies.
