SIMI alert across India India’s central intelligence agency on Monday issued an alert to all the states in regard to the six SIMI activists who escaped from Khandwa Jail in October last year. The five SIMI activists were lodged in Khandwa jail for offences ranging from robbery to policemen's murder to terrorism.  The group had escaped by scaling the 14-ft prison wall. A report by the Times of India , December 9, 2014, stated that on Monday the Intelligence Agency released photographs and other details of members of this SIMI module, who were also suspected behind the Chennai railway station blast in May, the explosion near Pune's Dadguseth's temple in July and, more recently, the blast at a Bijnore house in September.
