Home Minister Seeks Decisive Action Against Naxals in Campaigning Season

Union Home Minister Sh. Amit Shah reviewed the functioning of CRPF at the Force headquarters in New Delhi on 15 November and sought tough action by the force in insurgency affected areas with instructions to strike hard in the Naxal belt.

On his maiden visit to the CRPF Directorate after assuming charge as the Union Home Minister, Sh. Shah was given a ceremonial Guard of Honour as per a press information bureau release. He was then ushered into the entrance where he garlanded the holy URN carrying the sacred soil of Sardar Post, Gujarat-the historic place where mere two companies of  CRPF had repulsed an attack by  a full brigade of Pakisthani army, way back in 1965...................
