Wangtin, Tikhak to form new party

Wangtin, Tikhak to form new party Y. Wangtin Naga and P. Tikhak- have revealed that they would declare the formation of a new party in the next couple of days. In a joint statement issued Sunday, the two who were expelled by NSCN (K) chairman S.S. Khaplang on Friday, said that he new party “would work for peace and national reconciliation and built a better society for the Naga people”. It may be recalled that the two had attended the CFSB meeting on Friday in Dimapur in the morning when later in the evening, the NSCN(K) chairman/president S.S. Khaplang unilaterally abrogated the 14-year cease fire with the government of India. In his order, Khaplang had also directed the CFSB and its members to immediately cease functioning, failing which action would be taken against them...
