School Students from seven North-eastern States call on MoS ( Home) Shri Kiren Rijiju

A group of 26 students from the remote part of seven North Eastern States of Assam, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur and Arunachal Pradesh   called on Minister of State for Home, Shri Kiren Rijiju here today. The students are on a National Integration tour being conducted by Assam Rifles to promote harmony and awareness. Welcoming the students Shri  Rijiju expressed the hope that this visit will go a long way in helping them understand this vast country. He advised them to concentrate on  their studies, be  good citizens of the country and contribute towards the development of the nation.  The tour is aimed at integrating the youth with the nation and promoting concept of unity in diversity..........................
