India and Myanmar share 1623 km border. The Indian states of Manipur (398 km) Arunachal Pradesh (520 km), Nagaland (215 km) and Mizoram (510 km) share the border with the Sagaing Region and the Chin State of Myanmar, with the Naga (Myanmar) autonomous zone interjecting. Controversy has arisen over the alignment of the Indo Myanmar border.
