NSCN-IM condemns Indian Army, alleges of defiling political sanctity

In response to the Indian Army’s claim of recovering large cache of arms and ammunition from NSCN- IM, the organisation has expressed it felt comforted less innocent villagers were victimised and “it was a relief that the so called operation ended with the Indian Army and Assam Rifles rejoicing over the arms and ammunitions stolen from the mobile hide outs of NSCN., release issued by Ministry of Information and Publicity stated that Thailikpou Panmei who was apprehended by the Indian Army, happened to be a deserter and thus terminated from the organisation on June 10. There is no connection of him and the stolen arms and ammunitions whatsoever, it said. What is most painful of the operation by the Indian Army against the NSCN-IM is the involvement of many hands as part of the smear campaign to put NSCN-IM in bad light under any given situation, approach of the Indian Army in this manner by presenting unfounded allegation.............
