NIA official team visits ambush site The National Investigation Agency official team which had arrived in the State yesterday visited the June 4 ambush site in Chandel district as part of its investigation. According to sources, a day after the Thursday morning ambush laid by an NSCN (K) led combined team of underground outfits, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh presided over a high-level meeting on Friday in the national capital and not only condemned the incident but also ordered the NIA to conduct an investigation. Following the order, a high level official team of the investigating agency arrived in the State yesterday.
