Nagaland Factional Fighting and Extortion               Factional fighting between the Khaplang faction of the National Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN) and the breakaway Khole-Kitovi faction of the same group led to a number of assaults during December. Similarly there was continued conflict between Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) and NSCN (I-M). The main contest between these groups is over area of operation and designated camps. The fighting has intensified after NSCN Khaplang broke up with Khole Kitoyi faction.
