Naga Solution: NSCN IM Continues to Seek Flag, Constitution

In an apparent hardening of stand the NSCN IM has reiterated the demand for Naga Flag and Constitution and states that it will not merge with the Indian Union.

Nomination of the Centre’s Interlocutor Mr R N Ravi as the Governor of Nagaland raised fresh hopes of conclusion of the long series of negotiations with the NSCN (IM) which commenced in 1997 and were given a push by the Framework Agreement in August 2015.

Centre’s repealing of the Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir while raising some apprehensions of the Article 371 A in Nagaland has also given an impression that the Modi government in the second avatar is keen to take major political decisions with a view to resolve long pending issues.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
