Naga organisations express views on eve of Modi visit

Naga organisations have expressed their concerns on the prolonging of the Naga peace talks on the eve of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi visiting Manipur.The Prime Minister will be visiting Manipur on January 4, Friday, and inaugurate around 10 projects and also be laying foundation stones for various projects in the State during his visit. The projects include the Integrated Check Post (ICP) at Indo-Myanmar border, Dolaithabi Dam, Powerloom Estate. Modi will also address the public at Hapta Kangjeibung, Imphal East district.Speaking to Newmai News Network this evening, Kho John, President of the United Naga Council (UNC) said that the Nagas are patiently waiting for Prime Minister, Narendra Modi to fulfill what he had promised to the Naga people that the Naga political issue........
