The UNC leaders were set free following an agreement reached between the Government of India, Manipur Government and UNC in tripartite talks held yesterday at Senapati district head quarter. Subsequently, Gaidon Kamei and Stephen Sankhil were produced before the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Imphal East, A Noutuneshwari this morning around 9.30. Well wishers and families of Gaidon and Stephen, were gathered in large numbers outside the court awaiting the release of the UNC leaders since early morning.
