ILPS agitation intensifies amid curfew, agitators-police face-offs reported at several places Amid indefinite curfew imposed in the State capital soon after the death of student in police firing yesterday, the agitation demanding withdrawal of the Manipur Regulation of Visitors, Tenants and Migrant Workers Bill, 2015 intensified today with protestors defying the curfew and imposing road blocks in several parts of the State capital. Protestors were seen confronting the police using catapults even as the latter fired tear gas shells, rubber bullets to disperse them. Road blocks were imposed by burning tyres, placing stones and tree branches.
