CorCom declares ‘General Strike’ on April 29 defying President’s visit  CorCom, an umbrella body of different valley-based underground groups operating in the state has called ‘General Strike’ on April 29 against the proposed visit of Paranab Mukherjee, the President of India, said a statement. The President of India is scheduled to attend the Convocation ceremony of Manipur University on April 29. CorCom has termed the proposed visit as a ploy to continue the colonial hegemony of India in Manipur.
