ATSUM begins highway bandh under ROTO The All Tribal Students’ Union Manipur is all set to start its indefinite bandh on national highways and central projects from this midnight, as the government has failed to comply with the agreement decided upon earlier this year, said president Muan Tombing today. He said the government was given time till October 20 to fulfill the demands. Addressing a press meet at its office located at Nagaram, Imphal the ATSUM president stated that the government is not considering the student union’s genuine demand.
