Li Keqiang India Visit – More than a Stop Over While there have been many commentaries of the Chinese Premier Li Keqiang’s visit to India as a mere stop over on the way to Pakistan, the programme outlined at a press briefing by the Official Spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs Mr Syed Akbaruddin indicated it as a state visit. Mr Akbaruddin stated, “Mr. Li Keqiang, Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, will pay a state visit to India from May 19th to 21st of May 2013 at the invitation of the Prime Minister of India Dr. Manmohan Singh”.
