Indian, Chinese troops hold border meet in Arunachal In furtherance of the aim to maintain peace and tranquility along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in the eastern Arunachal Pradesh and to promote peace and cooperation between the Indian Army (IA) and Peoples Liberation of Army (PLA), a Border Personnel Meeting (BPM) was held at Kibithu on October 23 between personnel of Indian Army and Peoples Liberation Army of China. The Chinese troops joined Indian army troops for joint celebrations of Diwali, the festival of lights.
