India United States to Upgrade Army Exercise Yudh Abhyas

India and the United States will be holding Exercise “Yudh Abhyas” at Chaubatia in Uttarakhand from September 16 to 29. U.S. Army Pacific and the Indian Army. Soldiers from the 1st Battalion 23rd Infantry Regiment, 1st Stryker Brigade 2nd Infantry Division partnered with Indian Army Soldiers from the 99th Mountain Brigade, 6th Mountain Division will be conducting d military-to-military training exercise in Uttarakhand, India.India and the United States have been holding Exercise Yudh Abhyas since 2004. Held by the Indian Army and the U.S. Army, Indo Pacific Command Exercise Yudh Abhyas is a regularly-scheduled bilateral exercise hosted by the Indian and U.S. Armies which allows for an exchange of knowledge between the two militaries using a U.N. peacekeeping scenario. Yudh Abhyas is designed to promote cooperation between the two militaries
