India Military Satellites Launch Planned in 2019

On the plans for the launch of military satellites in 2019 apart from the MicroSAT used as a target for the ASAT test on 27 March and the EMISAT launched on 01 April, First Post reports that four RISAT and an advance Cartosat 3 will be launched. RISAT 2 B is proposed to be launched on 15 May followed by RISAT-2BR1 in July, RISAT-2BR2 in October and RISAT-1A in November reports First Post. The deployment of these satellites is essential as the RISAT 1 has outlived its life. Cartosat 3 is proposed to be deployed specifically for the armed forces with advanced remotes sensing tools with,  “better spatial range and resolution.”....................................
