Exercise Sarvada Vijay & Azm E Nau A Brief Comparison Indian Army’s 1 Corps as a part of the South Western Command conducted Exercise Sarvada Vijay in the Suratgarh sector of Rajasthan deserts in the first week of May. An official release stated that Lieutenant General Arun Kumar Sahni, the army commander witnessed the conduct of exercise ‘Sarvada Vijay’ on 03 and 04 May 2014. The release added that Exercise Sarvada Vijay is being conducted as part of routine training where a designated Army formation is practicing and honing its war fighting skills.  1 Corps comprising of composite infantry and mechanised forces practiced swift manoeuvres as part of the air – land battle said the release, though what air elements participated in the exercise is not clear...
