ELOP, Elbit to lead in Indian Army’s HHTI Requirement

Directorate General of Artillery,  General Staff Branch, Integrated Headquarters of Ministry of Defence (Army),  intends to procure approximate quantity of 12389 HHTI (Uncooled) for the use by Indian Armed Forces for which Request for Information (RFI) has been issued for response by 20 November. The date by which response is required indicates that the possible vendors have already been shortlisted by the Artillery Directorate which is not unusual. The tentative date of issue of RFP is 31 Jan 2019. The requirement is for a state of the art integrated light weight equipment which not only meets the necessity of judging the accurate range of the enemy target, but also incorporates inbuilt features of Global Positioning System, Digital &Magnetic Compass, Inclinometer and Day and Night Channel Binoculars, in order to reduce the number of separate equipments which presently a soldier is required to carry......................................
